A Message to all our friends

Dear Friends

Thank you very much for your support. As you can see, we have managed to raise a considerable sum of money in just a few days.

If you're making contributions through bank transfer, please let us know when you have completed the transfer so that we can include your name in the donor list. Thank you.

We will be accountable for all funds received, and will keep you updated on the activities. We are completely non-profit, and all funds will directly go to the victims in the form of supplies. We are keeping all records and we will present them to you in due course.

As you may well know, Burma isn't known for its sophiscated telecommunication infrastructure. Even as some of us (from the outside) try to get you the latest updates, there maybe delays as it may take time for news, photos etc to filter out of Burma.

At the moment, we are communicating with Yangon through emails and phone calls; all phone charges are borne by us, and they do not come from the funds collected. There is only one mobile phone (it costs about USD 1500-2000 to hold a mobile phone in Burma) in the field. In disaster zones, there may be difficulties in getting updates from the teams. Nevertheless, we will try our best to give you daily updates.

We seek your understanding in this matter, and hope you will have continued faith in us.

Best Regards
