The team returned last night after successfully completing Project 5. This time, they travelled along the Pyapon River at the invitation of one of the locals from the area. The local took the trouble to contact the team to arrange for aid distribution as these villages have received very little aid so far.
We have attached the receipts for the purchase of the following items:
1. 150 pcs of 9-inch plates & 200 pcs of steel spoons - Ks 66,000
2. 200 pcs of cooking pots - Ks 216,000
3. 200 pcs of blankets - Ks 330,000
Please click on the pictures to view at higher magnification.
Other donation items (figures to be confirmed after getting receipts):

Meanwhile, we are still trying to upload the photos. The main internet service provider announced last week of technical changes done to the platform (Reference: Irrawaddy News). These changes may have slowed down the internet.
We have been trying since last night to upload pictures from Yangon via the following sites:
1. Picasaweb albums (No access)
2. Send6 (Can't connect)
3. Yousendit (Trying)
4. Flickr (Trying)
5. Keepandshare (upload disconnected)
We have not been successful so far. The connection is unsteady, and it has been very frustrating for us. The team has resorted to sending the pictures one by one via email. We have received 3 pictures so far (after trying for a few hours last night and this evening). As such, we may have a reduced album size.
We apologise for the delay in updating the progress of the projects. We will update in the Tag box as more photos are being uploaded.
